Hello dear readers!  I have again ventured to enter the New Yorker cartoon caption contest!

I think I’m finally getting the hang of it!

My wife Shelly suggested that my entry should reflect the fact that both characters are centaurs.  But in a centaur-populated universe, as is clearly depicted, I don’t think that would be a cause for laughter!  The irony is that the woman’s odd placement of her welcome mat is the cause of her own indignation!

I will update this blog if my caption is chosen as a finalist!  Huzzah!
